Mr.Euchner was born on the 18th of November 1822 and joined the army on the 1st of October 1906 in the 11.Kompanie Grenadier Regiment Königin Olga Nr. 119. On the 24th of July 1909 he was promoted to 'Unteroffizier'. On the 4th of August 1914 he was called to serve and started in the 2.Kompanie Ersatz Bataillon of Landwehr Regiment Nr.120. From September 1914 he served in the 6.Kompanie.REserve Infanterie Regiment 247. The regiment saw combat during the battles of Polygoneveld, Ypres,Lothringen,Somme,Verdun and France Flanders.
In September 1918 the II.Bataillon became part of the Infanterie-Regiment König Wilhelm I (6. Württembergisches) Nr.124 and he served in the 9th Kompanie of this regiment. With this regiment he fought in Verdun and the 'Abwehrslacht in der Champagne und an der Maas. It also participated in the evacuation of the occupied area on the 12th of November 1918 and march back home. He won the EK2. With the pass comes also his Discharge certificate.
