Very nice German World War 1 Artillerie related tag in used, but excellent condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the Reserve Ersatz Feld Artillerie Regiment Nr.65. This regiment was linked to the Feld Artillerie Regiment Nr.65. This regiment was put into action in France for the first couple of months and fought in the Argonne area. In late 1914 it moved to the east, but in November 1915 wwas moved back to France. It fought in areas like the Somme, Arras and Nieuwpoort.
The back of the tag is marked with 'Gott schütze dich' or God bless you. Comes with the original cord.
