Nice Wehrpass in used, but good condition that belonged to a Wehrmacht soldier named Alfred Prein.

The Wehrpass shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with all pages and portrait of Alfred. Alfred was drafted in Grenadier Ersatz Bataillon 159 in December 1942. In May 1943 Alfred served in Grenadier Regiment 424 and served within this regiment until mid January 1944. This regiment was part of the 126.Infanterie-Division and during this period saw combat in areas like Staraja Russa, Ladoga See and Leningrad. 
On the 18th of January 1944 Alfred was wounded and spent some time in a field hospital/ recovery unit. In June 1944 he became a (staff)soldier with in 166.Reserve-Division which operated in Denmark. Alfred served in with this division untill the end of the war. 
Alfred was promoted twice, Obergefreiten and Unteroffizier. He was awarded the Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse on the 16th of January 1944 and the Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber on the 21nd of June 1944.
