This custom made tunic shows overall normal signs of wear. Couple of surface moth holes, but nothing major. Complete with original insignia (early bird!) which is all period applied. The number 'IX' on the shoulder-straps indicates that the soldier served in a unit in Wehrkreis Kassel. It has award loops for a ribbon bar and a pair of award holes on the left side. On the inside the lining is intact.
The walking out dress (piped service dress) or 'Ausgehrock' was exclusively meant for NCO's/EM who were allowed to wear it when going out or at dress occasions (weddings, events etc.)
