Nice black leather K98 bayonet frog in used, but very good condition.
The frog shows overall normal signs of use. The leather is suppleand solid. Marked by the maker, but too vague to read. It's also unit marked '2./Pi.35' which stands for 2.Kompanie Pionier Bataillon 35. This bataillon was formed in October 1937 as part of the 35.Infanterie-Division. In November 1940 the 2.Kompanie became part of the Pionier-Bataillon 101 which was part of the 101.Leichten Infanterie-Division and saw action in Croatia and Ukrain. In July 1942 the Division became the 101.Jager-Division.
