Beautiful unit marked, named and dated Panzer Enlisted Men/Non-Commissioned Officer Visor Cap or 'Schirmmütze'.
The Schirmmütze is in overall very good condition and shows normal signs of wear. It has a lovely shape. The fabric on the outside shows some moth bites, but nothing major or annoying when displayed.
The visor cap comes with its chin strap, the Wehrmacht eagle and wreath with cockade. On the inside, the leather sweatband is completely present and in excellent condition. Its maker marked and dated (twice) '1938' on the inside. The sweatdiamond is also present present, size marked '58', named to 'Feldwebel Baumann' and unit marked '2.Kompanie Panzer-Regiment 35'. This regiment was formed in November 1938 and was part of the 4.Panzer-Division. With this division it saw combat in Poland, Holland, Belgium and France.
