Very nice and hard to find Kavallerie (Reconnaissance) Visor Cap or 'Schirmmütze' complete with insignia.

The overall condition of the schirmmütze is used but good. It has a lovely shape. The fabric shows normal signs of wear and a couple of tiny moth bites, but nothing major.
The visor cap is complete with its officers chin strap, wehrmacht eagle (1 pin is missing, but it remains in place), wreath and cockade. It also has a nice visor cap skull or 'Braunschweiger Traditions-Totenkopf', which was worn by 'Infanterie-Regiment 17' and 'Kavallerie-Regiment 13'. Some insignia might have been replaced at some point.
The leather, (dried-out) sweatband on the inside is present and in used but good condition. The celluloid sweat diamond is also present, named, and in good condition.
Overall an excellent cap from a desirable branch.
