The overall condition is used but very good. They are Intended (among else) for the Kavallerie (Cavalry)- or Aufklärungstruppe (Reconnaisance troops) hence the gold yellow (Goldgelb) waffenarbe. The straps are partly made of boiled wool, which was common for tailor made straps. They match in color and the length of both straps is approx. 10,5cm.
