The card shows normal signs of wear. Complete with large sized portrait of Kurt Mässing who served in the Stab/Infanterie Ersatz Bataillon 459. This unit was formed in Spetember 1939 in Eisenach. It trained and supplied soldiers for Infanterie Regiment 459 which was part of the 251.Infanterie-Division. This division was put into action during the invasion of Belgium and then France. It stayed in France, in Brest, until the invasion of Russia in une 1941.
The license is dated August 1940.
