Nice Wehrmacht coconut canteen with 2 different sorts of webbing and roller buckle, in used but good condition.

Details

The canteen is used but not abused and shows normal signs of use. It's complete with 2 different sorts of webbing and the fastening strap has a roller buckle and metal fastening loop, instead of the more common friction buckle. The tips of the straps are nicely marked SHB. The bottle is marked by the maker 'H.R.E.' ('Heinrich Ritter' from 'Esslingen') and dated '1943'. The snap clip is marked with 'Patent Ritter'. The canteen comes with a black bakelite cup which is in excellent condition and nicely marked on top.

Overall an excellent used and desirable wehrmacht canteen.
