The canteen shows overall signs of wear. The straps are solid and supple. The felt cover has no moth damages, is complete with all 4 pushbuttons and is marked, in our opinion, by the maker 'S.S.L.'. The bottle is maker marked 'S.S.L.42'. The leather strap that is attached to the screw lid is marked with a vague 'R.B.Nr.'.
The bakelite cup is intact and in good condition.
