The canteen shows overall normal signs of wear. The leather straps are supple and solid. The felt cover has no damages whatsoever and all 4 push buttons are in working order. The canteen comes with a red painted late war screw lid and a green 'SMM44' marked bottle. It's complete with a black bakelite cup which is dated 1944.
