Nice Wehrmacht issued canteen in used, but good condition.

The canteen shows overall normal signs of wear. The leather straps are supple and solid. The feld cover is named under the straps, has a couple of moth bites, but all 4 push buttons are in working order. The leather strap (although hard to see), screw lid and bottle are all marked by the same maker 'S.K.N.38' which indicates it was produced by Sörensen & Köster Aluminium-und-Metallwerke, from Neumünster. The felt cover is also dated '38' but hard to see.
Just add a cup and you have a nice canteen from a rare maker.
