Very nice and hard to find Period Wehrmacht Pickaxe or 'Aschenbrenner Führerpickel' which where widely used by the Gebirgsjägers.

The overall condition is excellent. The wooden handle has no cracks or holes and the strap is present and still supple and attached to the pickaxe. The blade is nicely marked 'Aschenbrenner Führerpickel', marked 'Ges.Gesch' and maker marked 'Stubai'.
Very nice addition for an gebirgsjäger display.
