The canteen is in very good condition. The canteen, the leather strap for the canteen lid and the feltcover are all marked with the makers code 'C&C.W.43', which indicates the maker is 'Colsmann & Co' from 'Werdohl' from and dated '1943'. The canteen comes with a bakelite lid and cup (unmarked) which are also in very good condition.
