Very very scarce Model 34 field blouse or 'Modell 34 Feldbluse' in worn, but good condition.
The tunic shows overall signs of use. It has some period repairs on the front and back (most on the back), which are very nicely done (please see the photos).
The tunic comes with its (replaced) breast eagle, collar tabs, tenure Waffenfeldwebel-Abzeichen on the right arm (hence the silver piping on the border of the badge), all of its buttons and an Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon on the second buttonhole area. The period attached collar once had some tresse, which has been carefully removed at one point (demotion?).
The inside is in used, but good condition. It's complete with two waist ties (which you only see in very early tunics), the pouch for the bandage packages (on the right inside), all the buttons, 2 belt support hooks and as stipulated by the order of December 15, 1936 a square cotton reinforcement piece has been added onto the back to prevent wear en tear to the cloth.
It's size marked on the right inside. The measurements in cms are: Height of the bust (45), length of the garment (74), chest size (108), neck size (46) and the lenght of the sleeves (67). Its also depot marked 'B' (Berlin) and dated '34' (1934).
The tunic is also unit marked 'St.I./I.R.33' which indicates the soldier served in the Stab I.Bataillon Infanterie Regiment 33. This regiment was formed in October 1935 and was part of the 13.Infanterie-Division. In October 1937 the regiment became motorized. In November 1939 the I.Bataillon of the regiment was used to form the III.Bataillon Schutzen-Regiment 2. This regiment was part of the 2.Panzer-Division.
The lining is also (maker?) marked in the middle and number marked on the left side (probably the batch numbers of the rolls of fabric used).
As mentioned, this is an incredibly rare early tunic that is almost never offered on the market.
