The pillowcase is in excellent condition. It shows normal signs of use/aging. The illustrations on both sides are intact. The pillowcase refers to the 'Anschluß Österreichs', or the annexation of the federal state of Austria to the German Reich on 'March 13, 1938'. The date '12 Marz 1938' refers to the day the German army crossed the border into Austria without opposition from the Austrian army.
Very interesting piece of history that could be perfectly framed and would look great in any collection room.
The pillowcase measures approx 36,5cm x 45,5cm.
