The overall condition of the badge is used but good. Its complete with pin and catch on the back.
The 5. Gebirgs-Division was also called the 'Gamsbock-Division' due to it's insignia: a mountain antelope (Gamsbock) standing on a triple mountain peak. Soldiers of the 5. Gebirgs-Division wore this badge on the left side of the famous Bergmütze, beside the Edelweiss.
Incredible hard to find piece.
