Very nice black leather Wehrmacht equipment belt in used, but very good condition.
The belt shows overall normal signs of use. The leather is supple and has no damages. Nicely maker marked by Adolf Bockemühl. It's also unit marked with '3.Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 5'. This regiment goes back to the Reichswehr period in the 20's. In 1935 it was part of the 2.Infanterie-Division. In 1937 both the Regiment and Division became motorized.
In August 1940 the 3.kompanie of the regiment was used to form the 2.Kompanie Kradschützen-Bataillon 22. It was still part of the 2.Infanterie-Division. Infaterie Regiment 5 was renamed into Schützen-Regiment 5 in Oktober 1940.
The total length of the belt is 98cms.
