Very nice chocolate brown leather Wehrmacht issued k98 ammo pouch in used, but good condition.

The pouch shows overall normal signs of wear. The leather is supple and solid however should always be handled with care. All the partitions on the inside are present. Nicely marked on the back by the maker 'L.Beck & Co' from Nürnberg and dated 1936. The pouch is double unit marked on the inside. 9.Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 111. This regiment was formed in October 1936 and was part of the 35.Infanterie-Division. It saw its first combat during the invasion of France.
In November the III.Bataillon (9.-14.Kompanie) of the regiment was used to form the I.Bataillon Infanterie Regiment 239 which was part of the 101.leichte Infanterie-Division.
