Very nice and large WW1 13.Infanterie Regiment Garnison's sign in used, but nice condition.
The sign shows overall signs of wear. It has been damaged by shrapnel during World War II. This sign was made after World War 1 as a commemorative piece for th 13.Infanterie Regiment which stantioned in Münster from 1817 - 1850 and from 1856 - 1918 and hung probably on a building on the Aegiekaserne.
During WW1 this regiment fought the entire war on the westfront in Belgium (Namen) and France (Arras, Verdun, Somme and more). The size of the sign is 13cms*90cms.
Unique piece!
