Very nice Landesschützen Ersatz Bataillon 14 tag in used, but excellent condition
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the Stammkompanie Landesschützen Ersatz Bataillon 14. This bataillon was formed in April 1941 in Freiberg.
The bataillon trained and supplied soldiers to 28 different Landesschützen Bataillons, Sicherungs Regiment 191, Sicherungs Bataillon 391, 944, 945, 1022, Festungs-Infanterie-Bataillone 1416 and 1425 and some other units.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
