The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the Stab Luftgau Nachrichten Regiment 11. This regiment was formed in April 1938 as an Abteilung. In July 1938 the abteilung became a Regiment and was based in Hannover.
The 'AB' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
