The visor cap shows overall signs of wear. It has an overall very nice patina. It's complete with insignia and officers type chin strap. The fabric and pink piping have no moth damages whatsoever. The leather sweatband, which is obviously worn, is complete and supple. On 1 side there is a tear. In our opionion the visor was once repaired, but an excellent job was done here. Sits firmly in place and is hardly visible. The sweatdiamond is also present although a bit damaged. It's nicely marked 'Orginal Schellenberg Sonderklasse' which is a desirable schirmmutze maker. It's named to a Dietrich Kalb.
On the back of the website there is a oval makers marking and it is unit marked Stab II.Abteilung Panzertruppe Schule.
The size of the visor cap is approx. 56cms.
