The Erkennungsmarke shows overall normal signs of wear. Stab Gebirgsjäger Nachrichten Ersatz Abteilung 18 was formed in late August 1939 in Salzburg. In this unit soldiers where trained for different units. In October 1942 the abteilung was split in an Ersatz and an Ausbildungs Abteilung. Both fell under the command of Kommandeur der Nachrichtentruppe XVIII.
Nicely marked on the back with 'Blutgruppe O' on both parts.
Harder to find Stab grade Gebirgsjäger tag.
