Very nice 'Reichsbund Deutsche Jägerschaft (RDJ)' or 'German Hunting Society' 'Jagdschutzabzeichen' with document in used, but very good condition.
The badge is in used but condition. Its complete with pin and catch on the back and marked 'Ges.Gesch.'.
The 'RDJ' was the official hunting association in Nazi Germany from 1933 untill the end of the war. Membership was compulsory for anyone in possession of a hunting licence. The founder of this association was reichsmarschall 'Hermann Göring'.
The photograph and the memberships card, dated 31.3.1939, came with the medal.
The abzeichen is approximately 4.3cm in length
