Excellent Wehrmacht M40 Signal Decal helmet.

The condition of the helmet is very good. It has a lovely patina and still contains almost all of it's original factory paint. The decal is for 95% intact. and its complete with original liner and the 3 liner rivets are in place and not messed with. The liner is complete with drawstring and in good but used condition. The leather is a little bit stiff but workable. Its size marked '57' on the inside. The dome of the helmet is also marked.
The chin strap is in good condition. The leather is supple and the tip is dated and maker marked 'E.A.S.' (uncommon maker).
The shell is marked with serial number '953' in the neck and with 'ET64' on the side, which means the helmet was produced by 'Emaillierwerke Fulda', size '64'.
Overall a very nice helmet.
