Very nice and hard to find WW1/WW2 Offizier Kasino related large serving platter in excellent condition.
The silver-plated platter shows overall normal signs of wear. It's made out of silver. Marked on the back with 'Offizier Kasino Elsenborn' and marked by the maker 'B. Bohrmann' from Frankfurt. The platter measures 45cms*30. Camp Elsenborn was build in 1901 by the Prussian Army and served as a military camp during the First Wold War. In 1920 the camp became a Belgium army camp. During the invasion of the low countries in May 1940 the camp became a German army camp again. The Offizier Kasino was situated on the base (see the postcard we found (but not own)).
