Very nice Sicherheit-und Hilfsdienst related tag in used, but very good condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to member who served within the Sicherheits-und Hilfsdienst motorisiert Abteilung 32. This unit was based/operated in (probably) Mainz. During the invasion of Belgium and France the unit served in Belgium and later in Rennes, France.
In 1942 the S.H.D. became a Luftschutz unit and it was renamed into Luftschutz Abteilung der Luftwaffe 32. It operated in Buchholz, Germany and later in Hannover.
On the back its marked 'Blgr.A' which stands for the person's bloodtype A (Blutgruppe A)
