Very nice zinc Schwere Flak Ersatz Abteilung 64 erkennungsmarke in used, but good condition.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in one of the batteries of the Schwere Flak Ersatz Abteilung 64. The batterie number was not pressed on the tag. The abteilung was formed in the August 1939 in Kassel with 5 batteries as Flak ersatz Abteilung 64. In 1941 it was converted in to schwere Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung 64. It remained the entire war in Kassel. In 1944 the abteilung was increased to a total of 7 batteries.
