The overall condition of the document is good. Folded in the middle. The KvKII was awarded on 12.September 1941 who served 'Schwere Artillerie Abteilung 735'. This abteilung was formed in Januari 1940 with 3 21cm Mörser-18 guns and was a so-called 'Heerestruppe' which means that they were put in to action were they needed them the most. After doing some research we found out that apparently the abteilung (part of) participated in the invasion of Holland in the Renkum area and bombed the Grebbeberg. In August 1940 the unit was moved to France (Eperlecques) and a couple of weeks later to Belgium (Roeselare-Rumbeke).
In June 1941 the unit fell under the command of LV.Armeekorps(55) and fought on the Russian front. In August of 1944 its fell under Heeresgruppe Südkraine and was destroyed in Raum Jassy.
