Beautiful and hard to find Schutzpolizei Officers Visor Cap or 'Schirmmütze'.
The overall condition of the Schirmmütze is very good. It has a lovely shape and the exterior fabric is in very good condition. The visor cap started life as an EM/NCO and was upgraded to an officer, hence the officer's chin strap.
The visor cap is complete with alluminium cap eagle and 4 enamelled coated vents. On the inside, the leather sweatband is completely present. It shows some wear and has some tears, but is firmly attached and suple enough to fold out.
The sweat diamond is also present. Remnants of the manufacturer's logo ('Carl Isken' from 'Köln') can still be seen. The visor is named to: 'Johann K.'.
The size of the schirmmütze is approx. 57/58.
