Very nice zinc Luftwaffe dog tag in used, but excellent condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the a company of the 'Schule der Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 63'. The Flugzeugführerschule was stationed in Eger (Germany) and was renamed into Schule/Flieger Ausbildungs Regiment 63 in November 1939. In mid October 1941 the schule was renamed into Flugzeugführerschule A/B 63. In June 1942 the schule was disbanned and the remains were absorbed by Luftkriegsschule 7.
Flugzeugführerschule A/B 63 trained pilots in defferent planes such as the Arado 66, Arado 76, Bücker 131 Jungmann, Focke Wulf 44, Heinkel He50.
