Dietrich earned the Ritterkreuz on the 14th of October 1940, the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub in late December 1941 and the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub in July 1943. Besides that he also earned 1x Wehrmachtbericht, Luftwaffe Ehrenpokale, Frontflugspange fur Kampfflieger in Gold and more.
