Very nice press photograph in very good condition of Oberleutnant Heinrich Setz.
The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The moment the photo was taken Heinrich was Staffelkapitan 4./Jagdgeschwader 77. Heinrich earned the Eichenlaub (for the Ritterkreuz) after his 76th aerial victory in June 1942. In August of that same year he was awarded the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold. Heinrich died in March 1943 when he lost a fight, in the air above France, with a Spitfire.
