The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The photograph was taken when Oberleutnant Bartels was Batteriechef of the 3.Batterie Reserve Flak Abteilung 293.
Bartels earned the Ritterkreuz in November 1942 cause of his actions on the Crimea by destroying 20 Russian tanks with his 8,8cm canon. Bartels earned also the Erdkampfabzeichen, EK1,EK2, Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber, Deutsches Kreuz in Gold and the Krimschild.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. It's dated 19.01.1944.
