The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The moment this photograph was taken Karl was Flugzeugführer 8.Staffel III.Staffel Kampfgeschwader 3 'Blitz'.

Karl earned the Ritterkreuz on the 3rd of February 1943 after he had flown 350 missions! He also earned the Flugzeugführerabzeichen, Luftwaffe Ehrenpokale, Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, EK2,EK1 and the Frontflugspange fur Kampfflieger in Gold.

The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm.
