Very nice press photograph in very good condition of Oberfeldwebel Heinrich Ochs.
The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The moment the photo was taken/developed Heinrich was Zugführer of the 1.Kompanie Panzejäger-Abteilung 101. He is wearing his combat tunic and Bergmutze.
Heinrich earned the Ritterkreuz in June 1943 and the Eichenlaub in late December 1943 (posthumously). Unfortunately Heinrich was killed in action in October 1943. Panzerjäger-Abteilung 101 was part of the 101.Jager-Division.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. Dated June 1943.
