Very nice press photograph in good condition of Knight's Cross wearer Leutnant Martin Möbus.

The photographs shows overall normal signs of wear. It's complete with (reattached) paper caption on the back. It appears that the photo was removed from an album. Martin was a Leutnant in the 1.Gruppe, Stuka-Geschwader 1 "Insterburger Gruppe" when the photo was released.
Martin earned the Ritterkreuz in early May 1940 for sinking the British ship the H.M.S. Sussex. In September 1942 he also earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold and in 1944 the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub. Martin was killed in action on the second of June 1944.
