Very nice press photograph in very good condition of Knight's Cross winner Leutnant Heinz Klöpper.
The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The moment the photograph was released Heinz was Staffelkapitän 7./Jagdgeschwader 1.
Heinz earned the Ritterkreuz on the 4th of September 1942. He also earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, EK2, EK1, Luftwaffe Ehrenpokale and Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. Heinz was shot down by US P-38 Lightnings above the Netherlands. He crashed near the 'de Oldenhof' castle in the area of Vollenhove, the Netherlands. This happened in the 29th of November 1943.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. It's dated 24 April 1943.
