The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with (detailed!) paper caption on the back. Wirich was Korvetten-Kapitän the Chef of the 10.Torpedobootflotille the moment this photo of him was released.
Wirich earned the the Ritterkreuz on the 24th of June 1944, the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold in October 1943, Zerstören-Kriegsabzeichen in 1940 and the Minensucher Kriegsabzeichen in 1941.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. Dated 24.7.1944.
