The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with paper caption on the back. Endrass was the commander of U-46.
He earned the the Ritterkreuz on the 5th of September 1940, 7x Die Wehrmacht Bericht, and the Ritterkeuz mit Eichenlaub in June 1941. Endrass was killed in action on the 2nd of december 1941.
The size of the photograph is 9cm*13cm. Dated 31.03.1942.
