Very nice press photograph in very good condition of Knight's Cross winner Major Hans-Georg Fuhrmann.
The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The photograph was taken right after Hans' Knight's Cross award ceremony.
Hans earned the Ritterkreuz on the 13th of July 1943 as commander of the II.Bataillon Grenadier Regiment 501 which was part of the 290.Infanterie-Division. Hans also earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, the Eisnernes Kreuz 1 -and 2.Klasse, Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold, Infanterie Sturmabzeichen, Ostmedaille, Ehrenblattspange and more.
Note the EM/NCO belt buckle he is wearing instead of an officer's belt.
