Very nice press photograph in very good condition of Knight's Cross winner Generalleutnant Robert Ritter von Greim.

The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The photograph was taken when General von Greim was the commanding General of the V.Fliegerkorps.
Robert was a World War 1 veteran and earned a lot of medals during the war such as Pour le Mérite, Ehrenbecher, EKII, EKI and many more. He earned the Ritterkreuz June 1940 for participating in the breakthrough of the Maginotline. He earned the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub in April 1943, the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub und Schwerten in April 1943, Goldenes Ehrenzeichen des NSDAP in January 1945 and 6x the Wehrmachtbericht.
Robert von Greim committed suicide in late May 1945 whilst being a prisoner of war.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. It's dated 8.7.1940.
