Siegfried earned the Ritterkreuz on the 1st of November 1942 and the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub on the 11nd of September 1943 both as commander of the 11.Infanterie-Division. Besides these 2 awards Siegfried also earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, Ostmedaille, Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold and many more.
