Very nice press photograph in good condition of Knight's Cross wearer General der Kavallerie Lindemann and General der Artillerie Wodrig.
The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. Complete with paper caption on the back.
The moment this photo was taken Heinrich Lindemann was commander of the 18.Armee and General Albert Wodrig was the commander of the XXVI.Armeekorps.
Lindemann earned the Ritterkreuz on the 5th of August 1940 as commander of the 36.Infanterie-Division and Wodrig earned the Ritterkreuz on the 19th of July 1940 as the commander of the XXVI.Armeekorps. Both generals earned/won a lot more medals/awards during the war.
