Very nice press photograph in very good condition of General Karl-Adolf Hollidt.
The photographs shows overall normal signs of wear. It's complete with paper caption on the back. General Hollidt was Oberbefehlshaber 6.Armee the moment the photo was taken in August 1943. Here he is looking, together with another General and commander of a Panzerdivision, looking at a map whilst standing in a front line trench.
Karl was awarded the Ritterkreuz on the 8th of September 1941 as the commander of the 50.Infanterie-Division. He earned the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub on the 17th of May 1943 as Oberbefehlshaber 6.Armee.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. Dated 22 August 1943.
