The photographs shows overall normal signs of wear. It's complete with paper caption on the back. Joachim was no longer on active duty when this photograph of him was released in September 1944.
Hans earned the Ritterkreuz In June 1940 as commander of Infanterie Regiment 49 and the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub in January 1941. He earned the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub und Schwertern on the 20th of April 1944 as commander of the VI.Armeekorps.
