The photo shows overall normal signs of storage wear. It's complete with paper caption on the back. Josef was Kommandore III.Gruppe Jagdgeschwader 26 'Schlageter' when this photograph was taken.
Josef earned the Ritterkreuz in late October 1940 when he served in Jagdgeschwader 51, the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub in July 1941, Deutsches Kreuz in Gold in December 1941, Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub und Schwertern in July 1944.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. The photograhp is dated February 1943.
