Death notice card of Jäger Gerhard Stimpfl who died in the France (near the Italian border) on 20 September 1943.
The card shows overall normal signs of wear. According the notice Gerhard died in a Lazarett on the 20 of September 1943 in the area of Aix-les-Bains of his wounds. Gerhard served within the Reserve Gebirgsjager Regiment 1. This regiment was part of the 157.Reserve-Division and was stationed in West Alpes. According to the notice Gerhard earned the RAD-Ehrenzeichen. Gerhard is burried on the Dagneux war cemetery, Block 3 Reihe 3 Grab 59.
